14 3X45 BESTOWER Alysha Collett (4) $10
15 X745 HAARACAINE Andrew Adkins (6) $14
5 X461 GLAD YOU THINK SO
BEST
STARZINTHEIREYES (7) was excellent first-up in Australia where he was surging through the line in a race that appears the wrong shape for him. Drawn to secure the perfect stalking run and his closing work alongside TAZIMA reads strongly for this grade. Added fitness second-up is a major tick.
DANGERS
KING OF THE SEA (11) maps to get a better run here and his ratings profile says he’s ready to peak. The Maher yard placement suggests confidence and he’ll relish any give in the ground.
ROTAGILLA (3) drops sharply in class and has an outstanding Randwick profile. Still needs to fully prove himself at 2000m but Rawiller from gate 1 gives him every chance.
BESTOWER (14) is the knockout runner. She’ll concede them a start but wet ground brings her right into calculations late.
LONGSHOTS
HAARACAINE (15) can improve sharply second-up and gets into the race with no weight. If the tempo is genuine he’ll be charging late.
VERDICT
STARZINTHEIREYES (7) maps ideally and looks ready to peak second-up in Australia.

14 00X0 TIME QUEST Reece Jones (13) $41
15 2718 JAMBEROO Dylan Gibbons (6) $15
16 5371 WALKING PAINTING Andrew Adkins (15) $13
17 0529 UNTIL VALHALLA Adam Farragher (1) $26
18 0X13 SPIONE Tyler Schiller (16) $3.50
BEST
SPIONE (18) has returned in terrific order and profiles beautifully down in the weights again. His win here around this time last year reads strongly for a race like this and the recent figures suggest he’s come back sharper. Wide draw means Schiller has options and if the track is favouring runners getting into the right lanes late then he’ll take holding out.
DANGERS
GOD’S WINDOW (4) is far better than his recent form suggests and now drops into a race where he can show his class. Wet ground helps and Waller runners often improve sharply third-up.
MIGHTY ULYSSES (1) carried a big weight with merit at Warrnambool and now drops significantly after competing in much stronger races over the past two seasons. Handles wet ground and this grade suits.
WALKING PAINTING (16) maps to land right up near the speed and if left alone could give a huge sight again.
GLAD YOU THINK SO (13) has the ratings to measure up and should get every chance from a soft draw.
LONGSHOTS
KONASANA (2) absolutely relishes wet ground and is the blowout runner. Hasn’t won for a while but this setup is much more suitable than recent assignments.
VERDICT
SPIONE (18) looks perfectly placed down in the weights and his fresh form says he’s ready to peak.
Summary: 18, 4, 1, 16, 13, 2
R9 RANDWICK (1000m)

4 X50X WINNING PROPOSAL Anna Roper (11) $20
5 5180 SPARRING Jason Lyon (10) $67
6 128X SILVER WEDDING Kerrin McEvoy (1) $12
7 10X0 NEGOTIATIONS Adam Farragher (9) $51
8 9951 SHALL BE Dylan Gibbons (14) $26
9 134X PRIMA BELLA Ashley Morgan (8) $17
10 111X CENTURY SONG Brock Ryan (13) $23
11 1380 VELLA’S BEST N/A (15) $29
12 X914 CHALICE WELL N/A (4) $18
13 X180 KREON Tyler Schiller (7) $26
14 67X8 MASSIRA Alysha Collett (2) $18
15 8343 AGAINST THE LAW Mollie Fitzgerald (12) $29
16 3231 DEAR JEWEL Andrew Adkins (16) $26
BEST
SNACK BAR (3) has been crying out for a setup like this. There doesn’t look to be brutal pressure and if Parr can hold a spot midfield rather than spotting them a huge start, his closing speed becomes dangerous. Trial alongside AMAZING EAGLE was sharp and this race sets up nicely for him fresh.
DANGERS
PRIMA BELLA (9) is a genuine short-course specialist and any rain around Randwick only enhances her chances. Can roll forward or camp just behind them and her trial suggested she’s returned well.
LYLES (1) was faultless last prep and looked terrific leading in a recent Randwick trial. Big weight is the challenge but the map suits from gate 3.
AMAZING EAGLE (2) resumes gelded for the Baker stable and his recent trial work says he’s come back in terrific order. Rawiller booking catches the eye.
LONGSHOTS
CHALICE WELL (12) maps well from a low draw and if the fence is holding by this stage he can sneak into the placings at odds.
VERDICT
SNACK BAR (3) gets his chance in a race lacking genuine pressure and his late strength can prove decisive.
Summary: 3, 9, 1, 2
R10 RANDWICK (1400m)
1 40X5 GREEN SHADOWS Siena Grima (16) $21
2 5X86 STAY FOCUSED Regan Bayliss (9) $16

4 1414 FIDDLERS GREEN Nash Rawiller (18) $6.50
5 X641 MAFIA Dylan Gibbons (3) $14
6 X743 MAWJOOD Joshua Parr (10) $6.50
7 158X MR CHAPLIN Zac Lloyd (17) $11
8 3X07 ANYTHINK GOES N/A (15) $51
9 125X FORBIDDEN RIFF Braith Nock (2) $51
10 3231 ICEMAN Andrew Adkins (13) $16
11 430X INTERJECTION Anna Roper (14) $21
12 1215 KING TUT Adam Hyeronimus (1) $4.60
13 10X8 WHO EVER THOUGHT Zac Wadick (8) $51
14 8X85 WINSTON HILLS Ashley Morgan (4) $14
15 0X60 COMEDY Sam Clipperton (12) $26
16 717X FRONTEX Tyler Schiller (6) $9.50
17 72X3 INVADER ZIM Kerrin McEvoy (11) $9
18 0341 ATMOSPHERIC ROCK Winona Costin (7) $34
BEST
INVADER ZIM (17) could this be the prep where he delivers? He hit the line strongly last start in a race that has already produced a subsequent winner and now gets to 1400m on a run-on track. McEvoy sticks and from a midfield draw he should get every chance to finish over the top of them.
DANGERS
FRONTEX (16) failed twice at Saturday level last prep but his fresh form and recent trial work suggest he’s returned sharper. Maps well and gets the right race shape.
KING TUT (12) draws the inside and that may prove tricky by this stage of the day, but his form is undeniable and Maher’s horses continue to race well. If the fence is okay he’ll take beating.
MAWJOOD (6) looks one of the likely leaders and if Parr controls the tempo he can give a sight.
ICEMAN (10) had every favour last time but the form has already stood up strongly through the Warwick Farm winner on Wednesday.
LONGSHOTS
COMEDY (15) finally gets conditions to suit. Will get back and charge late if they overdo it up front.
VERDICT
INVADER ZIM (17) looks ready to produce the run his talent has long suggested was there.
Summary: 17, 16, 12, 6, 15
