6 28X9 LITTLE BEGINNINGS William Stanley (3) $41

8 SNACK BAR Ashley Morgan (7) $6.50
10 55X5 APPLAUD Braith Nock (4) $9
11 SILVANITO Regan Bayliss (12) $14
12 SANCTIFIED Sam Clipperton (11) $10
13 UNSTOPABULL Andrew Adkins (13) $26
14 3410 ATMOSPHERIC ROCK Winona Costin (1) $81
16 37X7 BIG PAPA Alysha Collett (6) $3.90
BEST
BIG PAPA (16) can improve sharply second-up and looks very well placed in this grade. His first-up run had merit, he draws to get a soft run and the lack of genuine speed should allow Alysha Collett to settle much closer than usual. If they elect to run here, he's the horse with the most upside.
DANGERS
LIGHTNING GLORY (7) has done nothing wrong this preparation and only strengthened his profile with a dominant Newcastle trial win. Until he shows a chink in the armour it's hard to knock him.
SNACK BAR (8) rarely runs a bad race and his Rosehill record is strong despite not having broken through. The race shape looks suitable and he should be finishing hard.
HEZDARNHOTTOO (5) gets back to NSW after a forgettable Caulfield run. Drawn perfectly to stalk the leaders and gets every chance to bounce back.
LONGSHOTS
SANCTIFIED (12) is better than his recent market profile suggests and can improve sharply if the tempo lifts more than expected.
VERDICT
BIG PAPA (16) looks ready to take a big step forward second-up and gets the right race setup.
Summary: 16, 7, 8, 5, 12
R8 The Queen Elizabeth II Cup (Listed) — 2400m
1 3861 PORTLAND Winona Costin (9) $6.50
2 X640 MAISON LOUIS Andrew Adkins (2) $8
3 X900 SAYEDATY SADATY Regan Bayliss (8) $23
4 X805 CABOCHE Reece Jones (6) $8
5 3174 SO YOU ARE Ashley Morgan (1) $7
6 X057 BLACK RUN Braith Nock (3) $6
7 0516 THEBUDGIESMUGLA Dylan Gibbons (7) $2.75
8 0X00 FERNAO Alysha Collett (4) $51
9 1X79 BRAVE CALL Jay Ford (5) $11
BEST
MAISON LOUIS (2) looks ready to peak getting onto a firmer surface. His Gosford Cup run was strong, beating PORTLAND home, and last start he never got clear when attempting to improve from the tail of a big field. The rise to 2400m suits and from a soft draw he should get a much kinder run.
DANGERS
THEBUDGIESMUGLA (7) is unbeaten from five starts at 2200m and beyond and is clearly the horse to beat on exposed form. Handles all conditions and deserves favouritism.
BLACK RUN (6) can control the race from near the speed and looks better suited getting away from Heavy ground. His spring form was excellent and he gets in well at the weights.
PORTLAND (1) continues to race consistently but now rises in weight and switches to a firmer surface. Still has to be respected.
LONGSHOTS
SO YOU ARE (5) finds a suitable race and his rating two starts back was enormous. If the track retains some moisture he becomes a genuine knockout chance.
VERDICT
MAISON LOUIS (2) gets conditions to suit and looks over the odds stepping to 2400m.

17 2472 MAYBE MOET N/A (4) $6.50
18 1331 SHOTGUN BELLA N/A (14) $17
19 43X3 BELLA CORAZON N/A (7) $6
BEST
MISS BUSSLINGER (4) was producing very consistent ratings before heading to the paddock and had genuine excuses first-up. She draws to get a soft run near the speed, should strip much fitter and looks ready to return to the form that had her measuring up in stronger races. At the price she appeals as the value runner in the race.
DANGERS
MAYBE MOET (17) looks the obvious threat if she takes her place here. Waller has multiple options but this race appears a suitable target and her recent form stacks up well.
TICKLEBELLY (3) maps perfectly in a race lacking genuine pressure and should get every chance from the draw.
SHOTGUN BELLA (18) continues to race consistently and her recent win suggests she has returned in terrific order this preparation.
BELLA CORAZON (19) has been around the mark all prep and should get a suitable run from her draw.
LONGSHOTS
JELLICIOUS (2) has been racing better than her finishing positions suggest and could easily improve into the placings if the race shape falls her way.
VERDICT
MISS BUSSLINGER (4) looks ready to peak second-up and is over the odds in a race where several key rivals may not even start.

17 2X19 I AM CARROT N/A (18) $14
18 1X47 CONGRESSMAN Jay Ford (2) $10
BEST
SEVEN'S (12) has returned in excellent order this preparation and now drops into a very winnable Benchmark 78. The form around his latest run has already been franked, with the fourth and first horses from that race running the quinella at Eagle Farm last Saturday. He maps perfectly just behind a solid speed, gets back to the track and trip of his last win and looks primed to strike.
DANGERS
MAWJOOD (3) should get every chance rolling forward and controlling the race. His recent form is strong and he looks the horse most likely to take catching.
ICEMAN (11) has been building nicely this campaign and his recent ratings put him right in the mix if he gets clear air at the right time.
FIDDLERS GREEN (4) continues to race consistently and should enjoy a lovely run just behind the speed.
LONGSHOTS
CONGRESSMAN (18) gets in with no weight and could easily improve sharply if he gains a start and secures a soft run from the inside draw.
VERDICT
SEVEN'S (12) gets the perfect setup and looks ready to return to the winner's stall.
