US MASTERS 2024 OPEN PREVIEW

Here is your preview for the 88th edition of the US Masters Tournament from August National.

Often referred to as the "most impeccable" course on the PGA tour, the Augusta National Golf Club imports pine needles, has speakers for extra bird noises and dyes their ponds blue - all part of the Masters affect.

Ex-Pro Mick Gannon says the course "requires accurate putting" and has landed on four golfers for those that enjoy a Masters wager.

Hedeki Matsuyama the 2021 winner of the Masters arrives at Augusta off the back of consecutive top 10’s and looks set to peak this week. He was in contention last year before succumbing to the final round pressure. That final round should be enough to fuel his fire for success in 2024.

Jordan Spieth was all over the shop last week, but found a way to sneak into the top 10 and showed signs of his best form. He’s a past winner of this event, has a great ability to make birdies and at his best. Shot -6 in his final round of this event last year!

Joaquin Niemann finished T-16 last year and is arguably the inform player on the Liv Tour winning twice already this season. He’ll fly the flag for the Liv golfers and looks the best winning chance from the Liv tour.

Sahith Theegala is making his 2nd Masters appearance. He shot -5 in the final round of this event last year, with 7 birdies on his card. He has four top 10 finished to his name in 2024 and can be competitive this week.
