2026 US Masters Staking Plan

Here are the quirky stats and staking plan to match for the 2026 US Masters at August National.

Augusta plays every bit of its length and then some. Fairways are cut back towards the tee so drives don’t release, placing even more emphasis on pure ball striking. It quickly becomes a second shot contest.

The numbers back it up - 15 of the last 19 winners ranked seventh or better for Greens in Regulation which tells you everything you need to know. If you are not dialed in with your irons, you are simply making up numbers.

The Players Championship has also become a key Augusta pointer. The last two winners there have gone on to win the Masters. That puts Cameron Young right in the sweet spot after his late charge at Sawgrass, fitting the exact profile of a player ready to peak.

AGE/RANK TRENDS

The Masters has become a great tournament for blossoming players. Since Jordan Speith won in 2015, players in their 20s have dominated winning 7 of the last 11 at Augusta.

All of the last 10 Masters heroes were ranked inside the world’s top 30.

Top 30 Players in Their 20s

  • Scottie Scheffler (28)

  • Collin Morikawa (29)

  • Viktor Hovland (27)

  • Ludvig Åberg (26)

  • Cameron Young (28)

  • Min Woo Lee (27)

  • Akshay Bhatia (24)

  • Robert MacIntyre (29)

FORM TRENDS

  • 8 of the last 10 winners had at least three prior starts at Augusta - we can remove Aberg and Bhatia.

  • 8 of the last 10 winners brought in a top 12 finish in the same month or the month prior - remove Hovland

  • 7 of the last 10 winners had already won earlier in the season - remove Min Woo Lee

  • 9 of the last 10 winners had posted a top six in a Major within the previous two seasons

We are left with - SCHEFFLER, MORIKAWA, YOUNG.

Morikawa won the Pebble Beach Pro-am

Scheffler won The American Express

Young won The Players Championship

US Masters $100 staking plan

Cameron Young - the knock is he ranks 15th for GIR but he smashes the rest of our criteria $40 @ $25

Morikawa - 3rd for GIR with putting his query $25 @$41

Scheffler - ticks every box $35 @$6.50

Good luck!
