Here is your TBF Tip Sheet + analysis of the Quaddie at Cauflield this Saturday.

At the bottom of this page is the TBF Tip Sheet (also in PDF version). The Quaddie Hunter provides a snapshot preview of each leg of the Quaddie outling the key chances by splitting them into 3 divisions. The Summary picks at least one horse from each section to form a leg.

BEST
(10) KARINSKA — Keeps hitting the line despite slow tempos in the Tea Rose & Flight. Wants genuine pace and peaks here.
(1) APOCALYPTIC — Wide in the Tea Rose, controlled the Flight from outside the lead. Maps beautifully again.
(3) OLE DANCER — Flying but poor barriers have been costly. Fastest last 200m in the Atlantic Jewel & Prelude. Drawn better.
DANGERS
(11) CHATEAU EZE (GB) — Asked for a lot in fast run race last start. Might get a cheaper run here?
(2) FERIVIA — Query at 1600m but won key lead-up.
LONGSHOTS
(9) ETHEREUM GIRL — Solid first-up; fitter now; can charge late.
(12) MATING CALL — Strong closer if they go too quick early.
VERDICT
OLE DANCER can stalk APOCALYPTIC and, with her booming finish and perfect draw, looks capable of causing a minor boilover. APOCALYPTIC is airborne and a deserved favourite, while KARINSKA could get a much better race shape this time around. Late closers MATING CALL and ETHEREUM GIRL can figure if they go too hard in front.
Summary: 1, 3, 9, 10, 12

BEST
(2) PRIVATE EYE — Class act. Flawless prep, drops in grade, can dictate.
(9) PAYLINE — Two sharp swoops at The Valley; better suited on bigger track here.
DANGERS
(1) HERE TO SHOCK (NZ) — Makes own luck; hard to reel in if tempo moderate.
(11) WARNIE (IRE) — Luckless behind Media World; meets him 2.5 kg better.
LONGSHOTS
(7) ROYAL INSIGNIA — Forgive the Gilgai. Strong splits at Flemington; better back around a bend.
VERDICT
PRIVATE EYE brings the class and looks perfectly placed to bounce back to winning form. ROYAL INSIGNIA shapes as the rebound horse after a forgive run, while WARNIE gets a crucial weight swing that brings him right into contention. PAYLINE looms as the late danger, capable of storming home if the tempo suits.
Summary: 2, 7, 9, 11

BEST
(4) MEYDAAN (IRE) — Flying this prep. Chased Arc-form horses; genuine stayer.
(3) MIDDLE EARTH (GB) — Missed the start in the Turnbull; fastest 800–200 m; ready to peak.
(15) HALF YOURS — Electrified the Naturalism; light weight; ideal profile.
(16) ROYAL SUPREMACY - fast win in Metro, run at 2400m helps, gets economical trip.
DANGERS
(6) LAND LEGEND (FR) — Strong late splits in Underwood & Turnbull; well weighted.
(8) ADELAIDE RIVER (IRE) — Boxed on gamely; fitter now.
LONGSHOTS
(13) RIVER OF STARS (IRE) — Building toward a peak; loves some give.
TBF VERDICT
HALF YOURS is the one to beat — boasting the perfect profile, a light weight, and strong ratings. ROYAL SUPREMACY continues to improve, an ideal trait for handicap conditions, while MIDDLE EARTH represents the powerful Maher/Zahra combination. MEYDAAN stands out as the highest-rated international galloper, and LAND LEGEND looks perfectly suited to the 2400m. RIVER OF STARS is the most natural stayer in the field.
Summary: 3, 6, 13, 15, 16

BEST
(5) ABOUNDING — Overdue; stuck on gamely off fast tempo; back to her sweet spot.
(4) LADY JONES — Ultra-consistent; rarely runs a bad one; watch fresh.
(7) BOSSY NIC — Hidden merit all prep; gets right race & map.
DANGERS
(1) MIRAVAL ROSE — Capable; needs tempo.
(10) TUILERIES — Draws better; improver off luckless runs.
TBF VERDICT
ABOUNDING brings the class and looks ready to strike at her ideal distance. BOSSY NIC brings the late surge and just needs clear air to feature, while TUILERIES maps perfectly and could be the big improver.
Summary: 5, 7, 10
