Play the numbers in the preview or follow the summary.

R7 MYPLATES TRAMWAY STAKES — 1400M

1 7510 HEADLEY GRANGE Adam Hyeronimus (2) $5.50

2 X450 TRANSATLANTIC Ben Thompson (6) $8.50

3 80X2 ATTICA Kerrin McEvoy (4) $8.50

4 X09X EL CASTELLO Tommy Berry (8) $67

5 3652 PRIVATE EYE Nash Rawiller (9) $3.80

7 11X6 IDLE FLYER Zac Lloyd (3) $2.70

8 712X PANOVA James McDonald (7) $17

9 4112 SOOTHSAYER Rachel King (5) $11

BEST

IDLE FLYER (7) had genuine market support resuming in the Winx Stakes, firming from $61 into $31 despite taking on two superstars. She ran accordingly and now gets to second-up where her record is faultless. Zac Lloyd goes back aboard and has ridden her eight times for seven wins. Plenty to like around $2.70.

DANGERS

TRANSATLANTIC (2) has never been a first-up winner but the dry track suits and he should be prominent throughout. He can help make the play and looks the logical saver.

PRIVATE EYE (5) maps forward and his best form makes him an obvious threat.

ATTICA (3) resumed with a solid effort and is another capable of figuring.

LONGSHOTS

None.

VERDICT

IDLE FLYER (7) strips fitter from the Winx Stakes, is unbeaten second-up and reunites with Zac Lloyd. Hard to get away from her.

Summary: 7, 2, 5, 3

R8 CATANACH'S JEWELLERS CONCORDE STAKES — 1000M

1 2X1X HEADWALL Zac Lloyd (5) $4.40

2 214X MARHOONA Rachel King (4) $8.50

3 150X BEADMAN Tim Clark (11) $26

4 111X TEMPTED Chad Schofield (7) $1.90

5 31X1 ROSELYN'S STAR Regan Bayliss (6) $9

6 8347 WAY TO THE STARS Ashley Morgan (8) $67

7 118X BESKAR James McDonald (1) $17

8 382X KING'S SECRET Andrew Adkins (2) $23

9 211X WANARUAH Kerrin McEvoy (12) $29

10 X321 STEADY READY Tommy Berry (9) $29

11 110X CHIDIAC Alysha Collett (13) $126

12 246X MAL COUPE Tyler Schiller (3) $34

13 531X SIGNOR TORTONI Jason Collett (10) $51

BEST

TEMPTED (4) is clearly the star of the show. She stepped out here three times last preparation and won all three, starting $1.60 on each occasion. Her first-up run last spring saw her account for Beiwacht and that campaign ended with a second to Ka Ying Rising in The Everest. Two recent trials have been perfectly sound and she's the obvious starting point, although 1000m is short of her best.

DANGERS

ROSELYN'S STAR (5) has good speed and comes here off a first-up win. In a race loaded with pace, his ability to put himself right there should give him every opportunity.

HEADWALL (1) won this race last year before failing to go on with it for the remainder of the preparation. He's had four trials since June and all have been sound. At his best he's a genuine Group 1-class sprinter and has to be respected.

LONGSHOTS

KING'S SECRET (8) produced the best last 200m of the day when first-up last preparation and is highly progressive. At $23, he's the one capable of adding some serious value.

VERDICT

TEMPTED (4) is the class runner and deserves to be favourite. The 1000m is the query, but her Randwick record is outstanding and she's the clear top pick.

Summary: 4, 5, 8, 1

R9 ASAHI SUPER DRY CHELMSFORD STAKES — 1600M

1 66X5 CEOLWULF Chad Schofield (8) $3.30

2 22X9 LINDERMANN Nash Rawiller (9) $2.90

3 172X CAMPALDINO Tim Clark (10) $34

4 62X6 SOUL OF SPAIN Zac Lloyd (7) $41

5 417X THE EUPHRATES Regan Bayliss (4) $17

6 34X9 TRAVOLTA Tommy Berry (2) $41

7 21X8 GREEN SPACES Rachel King (1) $9

9 8340 FANGIRL James McDonald (6) $3.70

10 56X5 PIGGYBACK Adam Hyeronimus (5) $23

BEST

LINDERMANN (2) finished 10th of 11 in the Winx Stakes first-up 12 months ago on a Heavy 10 before improving sharply to win this race easily second-up. His return this time was a little disappointing, but his form last preparation shows the quality of horses he can mix it with. Big concern is he goes flat off a gut buster first-up but hard to find anything to beat him.

DANGERS

CEOLWULF (1) beat Lindermann home in the Winx Stakes and should only improve from that first-up run. Interestingly, he finished fourth in the Winx last year before running fourth behind Lindermann in this race as a $1.75 favourite.

FANGIRL (9) has obviously been racing below her best but her peak form would make her extremely hard to beat at this level.

LONGSHOTS

None.

VERDICT

LINDERMANN (2) has been here before. His first-up run wasn't his best, but the step to 1600m second-up looks ideal and there's a strong precedent for him improving sharply into this race.

Summary: 2, 1, 9

R10 THE AGENCY REAL ESTATE (BM94) — 1600M

1 0768 BOLD MAC Jason Collett (12) $61

2 4107 MICKEY'S MEDAL Braith Nock (2) $15

3 5X26 FORTUNE Tom Sherry (6) $34

4 X067 THE PENDRAGON Regan Bayliss (10) $41

5 17X6 SNEAKY SUNRISE Tim Clark (9) $10

6 00X6 FRANZ JOSEF Kerrin McEvoy (11) $18

7 9235 ISTOLEA MERC Tommy Berry (7) $8

8 236X STARZINTHEIREYES Zac Lloyd (8) $3.40

9 1211 THE MONA LISA Andrew Adkins (13) $6

10 5X90 STARPHISTOCATED Reece Jones (4) $34

11 9412 PINHOLE Siena Grima (3) $14

12 X890 ABERLOUR Alysha Collett (5) $41

13 X154 WATSON Rachel King (1) $4

BEST

SNEAKY SUNRISE (5) has the best peak figure in the race and was unsuited on wet ground first-up. The stable aren't firing, so let's hope the trip to Sydney's sun gets them going again!

DANGERS

STARZINTHEIREYES (8) has been prepared for this with two encouraging trials, the latest a third behind Sir Delius over 1200m. Let's presume we didn't see his best during his first Australian campaign, although he was hardly poor.

THE MONA LISA (9) has a record to boast about at this track and trip. She rises significantly in grade but has earned her shot and is worth respecting.

WATSON (13) has been a fraction disappointing at his latest two starts but should get every chance in this field.

LONGSHOTS

None.

VERDICT

SNEAKY SUNRISE (5) owns the best peak figure in the race and can improve sharply back on dry ground.
