"Should play a bit off rail with Lanes 4 and beyond to provide the bulk of the winners.

In races over 1600m and further we expect horses a touch forward of midfield to be suited whereas in races over 1400m or less they should be able to come from midfield and a tad worse."

"Liked the trials of Pink Persuasion, held up with plenty to give in first trial. 2nd trial was good hitting the line late behind Namaste which was the fastest of 4x1030m trials of the morning, the rest Open grade trials. 3 subsequent winners out of first up run and unsuited by the tempo and back in distance last start. 3rd up 1400m, T.Berry on and maps to sit 1-1 while main dangers will be off midfield in a race without a lot of pace."
