Inside lanes fine and winnable – just perhaps a fraction better 2 to 3 horses off the fence but its only marginal. Don’t think you’ll get many winners swooping right down the outside, advantage first 6 in running.

"Second-up and won his only run this stage of prep. Resumed in the Rosebud here over 1100m where he drew wide and was taken back. He reeled off the best last 800 - 600 - 400 and 200m in a race that rated well above average for the grade. This is the next step up but our trial data from that hitout since at Gosford suggests he's airborne. Unfortunately the $9 we took on Wednesday is gone but he's still my best on a 2x3 basis."
