"Balmoral Castle, 6 weeks between runs last start up when off rail on a day it was a big advantage to settle rails in run and got to line well. Jaegers and Plaintiff beat it home last start, Jaegers since won impressively at Canterbury by 3L and Plaintiff goes around a $3 hope at Rosehill Sunday. 1300m suits and he’ll either sit 1-1 or 2 back 1 out. Keen, won’t be losing on La Basilique at big odds."

"Been very unlucky this prep, 900m race first up was well short of best distance and ran on super. 2nd up run caught wide and had to make two runs in a race that has produced 3 subsequent winners. Last start caught in the Canterbury coffin and wins comfortably with clear air. Maps 1 out 1 back, D day!"

For what its worth I didn't mind R5 #14 VIRGILS GIFT, who should appreciate a more rolling tempo after going too slowly for mine last start at Rosehill.
