Here is the Track Report and Nic Ashman's Best Bet courtesy of The Beaten Favourite.

TRACK REPORT
SOFT
LANES 5+
"Inner Lanes inferior and they don't start getting better until Lane 3 or 4. Expect most of the winners to make their run in Lane 5 or wider. Big fields will suit run-on horses with a class edge. "

WITHIN THE LAW R6 has a domestic handicap rating of 101, some 13 points higher than her nearest rival - the set weights conditions are perfect for her as she'd be conceding serious weight under a handicap scale. She likes to relax early then fly late and our Trackwalker Info is suggesting that style of horse will get their chance. She's backed up once in her life and ran 2nd to NEPOTISM in the G1 Champagne Stakes. Biggest knock is her 3 wins from 17 runs, she does find a way to get beaten although she's only ever started favourite once in her 17 starts showing this filly has taken on some of the best of her generation.
POLYGLOT R6 at Rosehill has been beaten 4 times as favourite in just 16 career starts - he's a money muncher. That said, he's coming out of the best rating lead-up where he took on some promising horses and 3 of his top 5 career peaks are at this T&D. We are expecting them to win a tad off rail at Rosehill as well - that will suit him as he likes to charge late.
The place all-up is paying $2.15. I won't be going nuts on it but will have enough on to buy a nice bottle of red up in the mountains next week. Will have a peanut on the win double at $9 in case it's that type of day.
We nailed 6 of the 8 games in footy last week and the ledger remains clearly in profit for the season. Here's this week's tips although tread cautiously as these split rounds are tough to win.
Good Punting.
Nic.
